Was a tale without an ending the memory never left
even what I dont remember I am trying to forget
line em up bartender you know what I want is wet
tilt the bottle toward splendor lets pretend we never left
the full moon above the island the waves wash away regret
the temperature is rising I think about you and I sweat
desperation is a wild friend keeps you out all night
left my troubles on the mainland think that Im insane man cause Im
never going back
Im a man I make mistakes why do the answers always come too late
where I go its all the same learn to carry lies and live with shame
Im not getting any younger today Im half alive but Im okay
where I go its all the same find a bar and numb the pain
Had so many roads to choose from took the one right outta town
if you take a chance to come up you gotta let somebody down
as I stare at peeling paint behind the bottles on the wall
my mind is like this island being punished by a squall
and I remember too like it was just this afternoon
every-time I glanced at the clock waiting for you to knock
the days are warm here on the island but the nights are so hot
and home is an inconvenient song that keeps playing... it wont stop
Im a man I make mistakes why do the answers always come too late
where I go its all the same learn to carry lies and live with shame
Im not getting any younger today Im half alive but Im okay
where I go its all the same find a bar and numb the pain
These guy's love the Devin townsend's Epic sound Which sounds as if its from another reality, And they make their own Hyper yet drifting Similar to seeing a comet whizzing by the atmosphere. A joy to witness but over, As soon as the majesty of it all sinks in! John Chaos Alexander
A truly stellar death/doom album with heavy doses of black metal. Tracks like Isolation, Child of Light, and Broken Hymns deliver the sorrowful and icy tone of this album, elevated by the stirring cello compositions of Raphael Weinroth-Browne. The album delivers a deeply satisfying crescendo in Becoming Intangible before stirring the soul once again with Epilogue. Matt Richardson
The surprisingly comical new video from roaring metal group Red Fang is a tip of the hat to the original “Predator.” Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 12, 2016
The subtle melancholic atmosphere created by M.S. and J.J. is some of the best atmospheric story telling i have ever heard in music and there is a reason this album is my favorite. Shores of Eternity
